Following on from the successful Family History Day held in August the Society is holding another session on 10th November. This is to help you if you are just starting your family history, or have recently started.
It is entirely free, as part of the Society’s aims and objectives in promoting the study of family history.
Both members of the Society and non-members are welcome to attend. You will have the opportunity to discover what records can help you and how to access them.
Janet Rose, Society Librarian, will give a PowerPoint talk on starting and progressing your family history and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions. Following the talk there will be experienced volunteers who will help you look at various sources and records that may help you in your research.
There will also be a limited number of one-to-one sessions (booked on a first come, first served basis) to help you get started.

The meetings room is in the New Auditorium which has plenty of space and seating. Free light refreshments will be available. North West Kent Family History Society is a Registered Charity No: 282627. The afternoon is free. But you must book in advance.
