Administrative Units

Leigh fell within the Hundred of Somerden. Its 19th century Registration District & Poor Law Union was Sevenoaks.
Probate Jurisdiction was Rochester to 1845, PCC 1846-57.

The ancient parish included a detached portion, this was transferred to Hildenborough at its creation in 1844.
