At Joanna Friel's presentation to the Society on Saturday 16th January 2020 entitled "Chislehurst Characters" in the Q and A session she was asked about Pascall's brickfield on Red Hill now White Horse Hill and if the bricks were used locally. Joanna responded that the brickfield was owned by the Pascalls but an earlier tile maker had provided tiles to Hampton Court (c1532) and that this was referred to in Webs History of Chislehurst dated 1899. I found a copy of the book has been reproduced by The British Library under their -historic print collection as a facsimile edition after it had been digitised by Microsoft in 2011. Their original copy is stamped 4 Ja(nuary) 1900 and is on shelf 10358.1.17.

The Book's title and details are 'The History of Chislehurst: its church, manors and parish'. By E A Webb, G W Miller and J Beckwith, with numerous illustrations, maps and pedigrees. Published in London by George Allen, 156 Charing Cross Road, in 1899.
