This workshop session has two case studies Travelling between parishes and searching for William Mead's parentage..
The first case study is looking at how 19th century people tried to travel between parishes, not just between contiguous parishes.
The second case study is to find William Mead's birth parish and the names of his parents using a number of methods from the details that typical sources may provide to give clues to the unknown.
The details and methods can be used for other research that could crop up in your Family.
