Ian lives in Beckenham, Kent, has always had a keen interest in history and has spent more than 30 years researching and promulgating the history of the Crystal Palace. For more than 15 years, Ian has lectured about London’s history at various colleges and organisations.
In 2006 Ian successfully completed the City of London Guides course and in October 2017 he was proud to be granted Freedom of the City of London in a ceremony at the Guildhall
