Sevenoaks Branch Talk: Christoph Bull on Cracking Kentish Chronicles when Kent was a Kingdom

A talk uncovering a history that schools have never taught.

Christoph lived in Chalk most of his life and founded Chalk Parish History Group in 1973 whilst still at school. In 2012 he was District Manager of Gravesham and Dartford and Swale Libraries.

Has been President of Gravesend Historical Society and was President of Dartford Historical and Antiquarian Society for three years. He is also Municipal Mace Bearer for Gravesham Borough Council, Official Cobham Hall House & Garden guide, and historical advisor to Swanscombe & Greenhithe Town Council. He says he is a librarian by profession and a local historian by inclination.

Christoph is a local guide and speaker with over 35 years’ experience who has entertained us many times with his light-hearted but informative talks on North West Kent.

Doors open 10.45am, meeting starts 11am.

There is a large public car park (payment required, 50p for 2 hours, £1 for 3 hours) adjacent to the hall but it can be busy.

No booking, just turn up.

The Society is a registered charity and membership fees and donations are an important part of our income. The Talk is free to members but guests and visitors are asked to make a donation towards hall hire and speaker's fee. There will be a donations box at the venue.

But Society membership only costs £10 a year (£12 joint members) https://www.nwkfhs.org.uk/about/membership/our-membership
