Family History Tutor and Speaker,
Jackie says it began with a family house, researching its occupants, an interest in Local History and joining a Family History Society. Then thanks to an unexpected career change twenty years ago gave her the opportunity to design and create Family History activities twenty years ago.
Starting teaching in the days of libraries full of film and fiche, before migrating into computers then the internet and now fully committed to online delivery.
A regular speaker at major events such as WDYTYA-Live and RootsTech Connect, Jackie has also run dedicated workshops for Archives, Country Houses, Libraries, Museums and Universities.
Still promoting local groups through the Yorkshire Group of Family History Societies, a member of the Historians Collaborate Group, the Guild of One Name Studies, and a number of other family history Societies.
