Zoom Talk: Artificial Intelligence and Family History with speaker Andrew Redfern

Andrew will provide a handout after his presentation as sometimes things can pop up during the course of the session that he can include in the handout.
Andrew is a passionate family historian and technology enthusiast. Since his initial interest in researching his family tree in the mid-1980s, Andrew has developed a deep interest in how technology can enhance the way we explore and preserve our family histories. The integration of AI into his toolkit was a natural progression and he has given numerous presentations on this topic all over the world including RootsTech and Legacy Family Tree Webinars. He is a current director of the Society of Australian Genealogists and contributes extensively to their education and IT programs.
A resident of Sydney, Andrew trained as a primary school teacher and taught for eight years before establishing his technology consultancy business. With an ancestor arriving in Australia in 1801, colonial Australia has always been a focus of his family history research.
