Trade Sources presentation recording now in MOA.
David Cufley has granted us permission to record his presentation.
It is now on the MOA area for members to catch up and learn about Trade and Occupation sources and how they can assist with our family history research by suggesting documents and photographs that are in the archives and record offices.
One of the Trade Union sources that has come out of the discussion at the workshops is the collection of records at Warwick University that is available to be searched. See https://warwick.ac.uk/services/library/mrc/about/main_archives/
There is an explanation of the collections in the form of Browsable lists of Warwick's trade union collections and they also have an archives of individuals including trade unionists, which are available through their online catalogue.
Warwick provides further information about the archives of the Trades Union Congress, Transport and General Workers' Union and International Transport Workers' Federation is included in their online research guides, https://warwick.ac.uk/services/library/mrc/research_guides.
