Zoom Discussion Group with David Cufley "Let's talk Family History"

This is a session when you can talk about family history in a similar manner to the coffee breaks at the library.

It’s a chance to ask about terms and words seen in documents or used by other historians and what they mean and how they influence your research. The session can also be used to ask ‘how do I do that’ and get tips from other members who have perhaps done similar research before.

Totally unscripted session and all attendees will have the opportunity to ask their questions and contribute to helping each other. It’s a free-flowing wander through aspects of family history research, so we have no idea where the discussions will lead.

As it’s on Zoom you have to bring your own coffee and biscuits.

Booking is no longer required for individual Zoom Workshops and Discussion Groups.

A Zoom Register has been created to cover all attendance to any of the zoom groups. Any society member who would like to be added to the register needs to submit their name, email address and membership number via the contact form found at  https://www.nwkfhs.org.uk/?location=1#Contact  . You only need to register once.

Once a month the zoom links for the discussion groups and workshops will be sent by email to those members on the register. Members who have registered can then attend as many of the Zoom groups as they wish with no need to make a specific booking for each one.

All Workshops and Discussion Groups are members-only events.

But Society membership only costs £10 a year (£12 joint members) and if you join now (ie after 1 October 2024) your membership lasts until 31 December 2025.
