RUB No 58 June 2025 out now.
Really Useful Bulletin has another interesting lead article on the Hudson Bay Company (HBC). Who knew Charles II claimed the Hudson bay drainage basin area (1.5 million square miles) of Canada and give it as a charter to Prince Rupert. Ian Waller gives the details of the HBC until its was dissolved in 1974. HBC archive contains lots of records from 1670 until it was dissolved all available at the TNA.
In addition the Bulletin contains the usual useful pages on Member Societies of the Federation, events and new published data and books.
The Bulletin is free to subscribers by going to the Federation web site www.familyhistoryfederation.com/subscribe-to-our-newsletter.
